Terms and Conditions:

1. The Full-Coverage Paint Finish Assurance Plan takes affect on the date of repairs and is valid for the lifetime of the vehicle while it is owned by its original purchaser.
2. The Full-Coverage Paint Finish Assurance Plan applies only to the areas of the vehicle that are painted by us with Sikkens paint materials.
3. The Full-Coverage Paint Finish Assurance Plan covers the following prominent and extensive defects:

• cracking or checking
• chalking or fading, which leads to a severe loss of glossiness
• peeling of the topcoat or layers from the substrate

Exclusions:

• deterioration of the finish caused by waxes, detergents, or other cleaning solutions not intended for automotive-type finishes
• deterioration of the finish caused by acid rain, industrial fallout, or other environmental effects
• scratches, abrasions, or stone chips, whether intentional or accidental
• damages caused by a collision

4. Should any of the defects covered by this Finish Assurance Certificate become apparent, the certificate holder must contact us personally, by phone or in writing, at the address listed on the back side, for instructions regarding the warranty repair of the vehicle.
5. Settlements covered by the Finish Assurance Plan do not give the customer the right to delay or suspend payment for repair of the vehicle. In the event of incomplete or non-payment, the Finish Assurance Plan becomes invalid.
6. The Finish Assurance Certificate is only valid for the vehicle owner on record when the vehicle was repaired and, thus, is non-transferable.
7. The Finish Assurance Certificate gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state.
